Year 9

In Year 9, students continue to build on their work from Years 7 and 8, as well as begin preparation for their IGCSE courses. The curriculum includes a variety of topics, including narrative, descriptive and travel writing; a class novel; a play by William Shakespeare; and a variety of poetry from across the literary heritage. Reading, Writing, and Speaking and Listening skills are further developed through English lessons, supported by some Drama and Learning Centre skills lessons.
